GH Litter Discussion 2019

Oof not having the growths in the archive makes it very difficult when sifting through people’s trade groups. Especially when they have 20+ I get they do that for the guessing game purposes but couldn’t they just pop them in without the artist, and once theyre claimed, edit it?

Anyway, love all the cats even though all but four of mine grew on day two and its been a challenge to get the ones I missed ^^;;

hmm i've been thinking about rockruff's cat, and i think i have a new theory (because i agree with lesbian, alien cat is probably kyar's):

this has to be irisid's cat!



first of all, the chicken hint: silkie is literally one vowel away from being selkie, which is a mythical sea creature. the teen version also had at least one color of the rainbow on it, has line edits, and has blue eyes. aside from its purple nose, it also has some purple spots and would likely eat salty foods because it lives in the ocean. there are a few other hints that i cannot explain and the video hint still seems to point to the alien kitty (the pattern on the pony vs the teen stage are similar), but these are my two cents.

You got all these hints correct. The other question answer about the colourful houses was Greenland so shoutout to Harpija221 for getting that almost immediately!



She is indeed a Selkie (good job on the silkie hint. It wasn't just that they were one vowel away, but the mythological creature is also sometimes called a silkie!)

This cat litter has really made me just fall in love with this site as a relatively new player. The designs all around have just been so lovely and well-detailed. Especially love the selkie cat so far, it's such a creative deviation from the standard line art!

Owl kitty is probably Kyar’s, because the k in the CS tag is colored differently than the rest of the tag and Kyar has done this with their other cats

Also Kyar's Hints

-Thrives in the nighttime (Owls are nocturnal)

-Doesn't hang around big cats (Big cats could possibly be considered predators to Owls)

-yov (There are many V shapes in the cats pattern. Ears, Beak, etc)

And as Wolven Girl said, The 'K' in Chicken Smoothie is discolored slightly than the rest of the words. Kyar is the only one I have seen do this.

So Kyar. Is this your cat?

Not to mention also the DnD spell hint if it were related to the “faerie fire” and this babe definitely has those faerie wings

Edit:: looking at Wobbufets stamps and interests, they’re a big space and sci fi fan, which makes me wonder if this is their pet- it’s not a PPS- based off of Rocketman

I believe (if it hasn't been claimed) the double tailed PPS is lucky's! Based on the hint about night and day being correct:
1. The eyes as it grew shifted from sky blue to black with a white pupil, maybe representing the night sky and a star?
2. The contrasting colors of sky blue and dark night-y blue
3. If the whole hint is correct about the ocean contrast, the tail zig-zags could represent the tide or waves during the day, and the bubbles on the final outcome could represent the calm waters and the ocean animals coming to life at night

You are getting close but you need to get my hints correctly for me to confirm or deny anything.

the morse code gave us a youtube video url, which showed a video that flashed "rockruff" and "#86" on a black screen. we initially thought it referred to his 86th hoard "shorty squad, out," but it turns out it was a reference to the 86th pokemon in the pokedex, seel.

Let me see if I can put together Lucky’s hints that were laid out so nicely by Obius - thank you, Obius!



I believe this may be Lucky’s kitty, and here is why I think that:

1. Non existent. This kitty would not exist in the real world. We are lucky that these kitties don’t have to be real.

2. Has some gradient. There looks like there is a little gradient, but not as obvious as others are.

3. Spies on colors and colors are important. This kitty’s coloring is very unique and is made to easily distinguish between the upper and lower parts of the body, and the very unique eyes.

4. Easily impressed by things. This is a pps, and usually the younger a kitty is, the more easily things impress them or catch their attention.

5. Loves to splash and play tag. Being young, this kitty probably loves to splash around in the water and loves tag, but at a young age would not be the most athletic yet.

6. The favorite snacks are chocolate chip cookies, mango, icecream, ginger ale, and hot cocoa - as a kid, I loved these foods. I still like these foods even as an adult!

7. Likes both night and day due to how different the ocean is during the night and day - not only does this kitty look like night and day, which would affect the ocean differently, the blue layer between the upper day and lower night looks like a layer of water.

8. Lastly the big cat reference. This interest was more for all wildcats, and this kitty, though it does not look like any wildcat in real life, looks very wild and free, and pretty.

So perhaps I’m way off, but it was fun giving it a shot! And since rockruff claimed the selkie, we have to look elsewhere to figure out your kitty!
