I have always loved that line edit of it laying down ;o; I wish we had
an actual pet like that, rather than it just being a growth stage

Last year, I was so nervous about the sleeping stage. I got a lot of help from the team to improve it from my original attempt at the lines, but I was still afraid it wasn’t enough - I thought no one would like it.

I was so shocked to see how many people loved it, and when you all said you wished it could stay that way, I felt so relieved and amazed and overjoyed! Because of that, and all the support I got from the community and my team, I brought back the same sleeping lineart from last year. I thought about trying to touch it up, but I realized that it was exactly the way it should be - maybe not perfect - but just the perfect way to remind me that I don’t have to be perfect.


This year’s kitty is named Belle, after my wonderful little niece who loves the colors purple and yellow - and who isn’t too bad a fisherman for a four-year-old girl. :)

((And yes, the whole cat is slightly transparent!))

It's already full grown, it is staying in the sleeping stage
