Purpose and Appliance:
This guide serves two purposes:
First, it will give all users, whether new or old, another option for a guide on valuing their pets.
Two, it will give a little in-sight, or "history lesson," on how trading worked years ago on the site.
This guide refers to methods that were used in the earliest years on the site, and before the mass acceptance of another method of valuing. This guide does not tell you how to value any pet as an individual, but rather refers solely to year and rarity tags alone. This guide will also help you with conversion of trading pets with different rarities, as well as different years.
This guide does not apply to Store Pets/pets obtained from the store. Because Store Pets themselves are limited and will never be released again, and because they are considered to be Semi-Customs and not a part of the actual collection (For those going for complete CS Pet Collections), they will be treated different and this guide will not apply to them. This Guide also does not include any form of "demand" whether by individual person or pet, species, or rarity tag.
