How much is the DIY cake items?
I have them, don't know worth.

I talked with an older user who said the individual candles, candy, and sprinkles are an 09' rare each. The cake and piping is another story though. As a set, at least lower mainlist but as mentioned before, item values are currently being re-assessed.

so i'm not familiar with the rarity of items at all, so i'd appreciate it if someone could tell me, based on the item demand and whatever else (i'm definitely not sure) if this would be a reasonable trade to make?

I just wanted to point out that the Santa Dress is only worth a 2009 uncommon according to the items guide, and I've never seen any special demand for it.

The item list hasn't been updated for a long time, so I wouldn't rely on it too much.
I have seen the santa dress go for a late 2009 rare, or at least two 2009 uncommons. Its value has been debatable as to whether or not it should move up to an 2009 rare.

In order:
-The dog plushie is worth a late 2011 uncommon
-The love letter and sticky note could be worth around an early 2012 common
-The summer event plushies are worth a mid 2012 common each, but could also be worth uncommons if you consider demand.
-The mermaid tail and fins set is worth a 2012 rare
-The pink pigeon is worth an early 2012 common
-A late 2013 common for each barn item
-The two owls are most likely worth an early 2015 common each
-And the aviator scarf is worth a late 2015 common.

As for the trade, it looks like they are overpaying by quite a lot.

Just get the C$ value from the store and apply it there.

I can tell you the value of the items in C$, and convert that C$ value into pets. Sorry, I'm a little confused to what you are asking about something being fair enough for a full set? But this might help!:

-The Stripey jacket is 5C$
-The stripey pants are also 5C$
-The toxic yellow shirt is also 5C$
-The set of fire blasts is worth 9C$
Altogether, thats 24C$, so all the items together could approximately be worth a 2015 store pet or a mid 2010 rare, or two 2011 rares.

The eat and drink me set are store items released from October 2009 (Which doesn't really affect its value), and the set is worth 5C$, so thats approximately worth a 2014-late 2013 rare, or a 2011 uncommon.
Separately, I would just half the 5C$ amount to 2.5C$ for each individual item, so probably a 2015 rare or a 2014-2013 uncommon in pet values.
