I think there are different versions of the tale.
Sort of like how there are many different versions of Rapunzel, etc. C:

out of my original adopts, the only outcome I have so far is the butterfly pup- thank goodness I traded for a few more, or I'd have missed so many! Really excited to see which fairytale the crown puppies are going to be based on.

I have often wondered if Hans Christian Andersen received inspiration from the Bible in regards to this dark fairy tale. 1 Kings chapter 3 if you are interested.

I truly love this pet, it is a wonderful symbol of a mothers love........and you are so right, not all fairy tales are crowns and roses, carriages and kings.
