The other chinese chats are sort of dead (as in haven't had any posts in about a year) so i thought I'd make a new one.
I did chinese for a semester at school
I can only have a basic conversation but i plan on improving my skills(apologies for any mistakes i make)

in my opinion, 'nei hou' / 'ni hao' is a little formal to me ^^ i personally prefer 嗨 (basically 'hi' / 'hey') in comparison to 你好. again, just my opinion ^^
