So far I've never been out of the country, but I'm excited because in 25 days I get to visit England, Ireland, North Wales, and France!

Cool where are you going in England?
Also you'll be able to pickup some welsh like slow, stop, give way, look right, look left because all the road sign are bilingual!

Where I normally go in france (Normandy) is a lot like England but more open, as they dont really have hedges round their fields!

Advice: Pack thing for nice and horrible weather, as especially in recent years it has just rained the whole year, which is basically why all the cliffs on the Jurassic Coast are falling down.

If you want to know more about England, I'm happy to help.

I'm going to London, which might be a little overwhelming for me because I come from a small town of 30,000 people and it takes 4 hours to drive anywhere more populated than my town! x)
And I'll be sure to pack for rain or shine!

Oh, and I have a question. I hear that the British and Irish eat boiled tomatoes, or is that just some myth an American made up? Because we have nothing like that in America, it's unheard of! xD

Yeah definetly London is a big place.....30, 000 sounds quite big, as I come from a tiny town of 12, 000!!
Where I live the roads aren't that good, and it's funny how I can drive to Germany in the same as driving up to the North! XD (They both take a day from South Coast.) We don't eat boiled tomatoes by themsleves, but we do have boiled potatoes, and the b. tomatoes, I can imagine as a side dish or something like that in a restuarant, or in a sauce, but that's a bit different.

You'll love it in London, where there's a lot of things to do!! (London Eye, boat rides, Natural History Museum, Science Museam, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Greenwich (pronounced Gren-itch) where you can stand over the time zone line, and that's all about the history of time and things like that. There's also Speaker's Corner, which is the only place where you can say literally everything you want, and it can be funny just to listen to some crackpots that might be there! And then you have the West End, although you probably won't be watching something there, as it's expensive. We also have the tube, but that it's horrible, especially if you have no idea where you are going, so you probably won't use it, but you'll see signs for it all over the place. (They say 'Underground') They are the stations. The escalators for some of the lines are really steep, because they are that far underground, and I used to be scared going down them, now I'm ok, and look at all of the posters as I'm going down!

I feel clever because I understood that with my German knowledge!! Also I love how some things in Dutch sound exactly the same as they do in English but from the spellings they look so different!! (I only know wolves in Dutch, because my family came from the people who invaded france then England via Hastings! (but thats nearly 1000 years ago!!
