It's actually "Me llamo ___" not "Mi llamo ___" C;

Here are some very useful words/phrases. ^^
It's a good idea to learn some of the basic vocabulary before you even attempt to tackle the grammar. C:
(the capitalized part of the word in parentheses is what you emphasize)
Hola (pronounced OH-la) = Hello
Buenos días (pro. BWEN-os DEE-as) = Good morning
Buenas tardes (BWEN-as TAR-dase) = Good afternoon
Buenas noches (BWEN-as NO-chase) = Good evening; good night
Adiós (ah-dee-OS) = Good-bye
Hasta luego (AH-sta lu-EH-go) = See you later
¿Cómo estás? (CO-mo eh-STAS) = How are you?
Estoy* muy bien, gracias (eh-STOY moy bee-EN, GRAH-cee-as) = I'm very well, thanks
*Saying "Estoy" is optional. You can leave it off if you want to.
De nada (day NAH-dah) = You're welcome
Lo siento (LOW see-IN-toe) = I'm sorry
Por favor (POUR fah-VOR) = Please
Señor (sin-YOUR) = Sir; Mr.
Señora (sin-YOUR-ah) = Ma'am; Mrs.
Señorita (sin-your-EE-ta) = Miss
¿Cómo te llamas? (CO-mo te YA-mas) = What is your name?
Me llamo... (MEH YAH-mo...) = My name is...
Día (DEE-ah) = Day
Escuela (eh-skuEH-la) = School
Ser (rhymes with "air") = to be
