Ha, same for one of my friends except their dad works in a building in the city and they watch the fireworks. I could hear them but not see them haha

as an aussie, i find that while i was overseas in europe that everyone told me i was australian because of my accent. i do use the phrases 'mate', 'bazza', 'g'day', 'gob' and 'clacker'. it's natural! also looking up riverfire asap

You guys are lucky. I've always wanted to watch it. Even on TV. But my family doesn't want to. Besides, I'd rather not drive into the city by myself.

I think the fireworks have definitely gotten better each year. Last years were amazing but from my memory of it the fireworks from 2 years ago were the best I've seen. The jets were the best I've ever seen last year though.

Did anyone go to see the fireworks in Canberra last month? A friend and I went down and had a sleepover at my grandmother's house and saw the fireworks. I've been told that it is testing for the New Year's fireworks.

I know c; all I saw were the jets, because there are trees blocking my view of the fireworks. I heard they were beautiful though and I could hear them.
