we've been getting some horrific storms up townsville/mackay way! got stuck in a massive one today, saw some fork lightning not 100 meters away! felt the buzz!
any of you guys getting this horrific weather?
although i do hope it washes out some events i dont want to go to horse-wise ( QLD pony clubs making stupid events, meh ), i wish it'd clear off for a bit to start the new school year on thursday! plus i've got a concert in brisbane ( where i'm meeting up with another CSian! yay! )

I live in the same area! I am so sick of the storms - was good for the first day or two, but getting on a week old now and it is really starting to annoy my. We lost power a few times also becasue of it... at one point we were the only suburb in all of town to lose power. Ah well, We had candles and an unfinished puzzle to do :p

And have fun at your concert! It should be pretty awesome to meet someone else from CS ^^

I hope the storms do not turn out to be that bad all-together. I hate bad storms.
One time I lost power, and ended up playing monopoly under torchlight and candles. That was fun.

Hello, I'm dropping in to say happy Australia Day for tomorrow to everyone!
I'm upset that it's my last day of summer break for me, but hey, at least it'll be a good last day of summer break! ... Not sure if I'm doing anything for it though. Probably going to spend the day getting dragged around by my nan. Maybe to the beach or the park, who knows! But I hope everyone has a nice day!

For the weather conversation;
Where I am we actually got some pretty bad storms for a while and even flooding, but thankfully we've had a break for a few days which I'm glad for.
