Anyway, who else got the day off on Tuesday for Melbourne Cup? It was only Victoria, right? It's funny; we're on the border so I got the day off in my Victorian High School, and my siblings didn't in NSW. |D

That is actually really funny. |D

Here, in Victoria, it's lots of fun having Cup Day off - the only thing is that only the Tuesday is an official public holiday. Some schools have the Monday as a day off, but others require you to go to school. So it can be strange, having a weekend, then going to school, then having a day off.

Yeah, I got Monday off too yay 4 day weekend!! Our school does an 'activities day' on Monday every year that is optional for people to go to. We also have an optional activities week on the last week of the school year, so everyone gets a week shorter unless their parents make them go, or they are accompanying their friend, whose parent made THEM go

I have a beautiful red healer called Heidi who unfortunately is epileptic and I used to have a blue healer called Jebby who's arthritis completely seized up his bones so he couldn't walk and had to be put down.

In relation to the above^ aww! What do you mean by, do we have. Like, do we personally own an AUstralian breed of dog, or does Aussie have its own breeds of dogs?
I own a border collie cross kelpie and Rhodesian Ridgeback she so funny!!

That sounds great actaully! In primary school my grade had 3 wasted years from teacher swaps and one because the teacher swore at us and gave us detention like very day >.< I would have to be in the catch up learning stuff haha

Eww! I hate those teachers! i've never had one quite that bad, but some of my friends have...

I do AMEB grades for piano violin and French horn, my horn teacher wants me to do island brass and when I am older join the TSO (Tasmanian symphony orchestra) or the AYO (Australian Youth Orchestra) because apparently I am really good. I don't believe them but I try my hardest.

I have to go up mount wellington today -.- the city is going up to around 15 degrees c, and the mountain is alway 10 degrees lower than the city, that's 5 degrees ;w;

That sounds really cool! Maybe I will see you one day, but not realise it's you Also, as long as you try really hard and never lose touch with the music, you will get there The cold doesn't sound very fun, though... hope you had a good time anyway

Ok so at our school we had our year 10 interviews for our subjects for year 11 so I'll tell you what I got in

I got into legal studies (yay) I couldn't get into French so I got into visual arts and the rest of the subjects are lifeskills classes.

So since I'm only doing two mainstream classes can anyone give me tips or if anyone is doing these two classes could maybe help me at some point :3

I'm doing legal studies next year too! I'll only be in year 10, but I'm joining a VCE class

I'm currently doing AMEB 4 for Violin although i've been doing more difficult pieces from other books and just in general |D

I've always wanted to play the bagpipes ;^;
Our school has Scottish heritage (and so do I), but I didn't because I thought that I wouldn't be able to play it ;^;
But now I regret that decision |D

Haha, I wish I knew how to play the violin!
