oh normally 6th forms don't have uniform, because it's more of an adult environment (well they say that but... )

Here they talked of REVOLUTION.
Here it was they lit the flame.
Here they SANG about `tomorrow'
And tomorrow never came.
♠ ♠ ♠
From the table in the corner
They could see a world REBORN
And they rose with voices ringing
I can HEAR them now!
The very words that they had sung
Became their LAST communion
On the lonely barricade at d a w n .

That sounds like a lot of work for you, but learning different languages is lots of fun ^.^ Do you like spoken exams better, or written?

Umm I learn by repeating stuff over (speaking) so it's easier for me to learn it for a speaking.
But because I am learning 2 foreighn langs (most people in my school only do one or none, if they have support lessons) so I am learning more vocab (well in my french lessons I always think of German vocab, so that's quite annoying), which means my memory (long term) is quite good at the mo..

At the moment I have in my head:

two speeches that I make in the school play, (got to learn another one, but it's short and sweet)
and at least two paras of my french speaking.

But in my English lit exam that I took yesterday was so easy, cos we had covered all the stuff in the questions already (without knowing of course, otherwise everyone'd just get a big fat U for their Eng Lit grade, which ain't good)

But obviously I'm a native native of england and speaker of the language, so it's kinda natural that I'm better at English TBH..but grade-wise, I'm better at my foreign langs than English!! (getting b/a in de/fr and getting a c/b in english (hopefully!))

But really i wish that i was a native speaker of german cos:

My country wouldn't panic when it comes to snow.
I wouldn't mind skiing.
I could ice skate.
I would know german natively (obvs)
I could get away with making misktakes in english
Simpler grammar in foreighn langs (unless scandinavian ones)
I'd know more english than I know German in RL.

My native language is Spanish, but I've talked english since I was... think 4 or 5 years old(I guess) so I have a pretty good english (well, at least I think I have :D ) and I'm studying French, which is not very hard for me. I'm going to study italian because I have italian ancestors, but I haven't found a good place.

Unless it speciallises as a language school, you probably won't be able to do itailian, especially at AS/A-level.

Don't forget for your first year at sixth form you can only choose 4-5 subjects, and you do get frees, but apparently the workload is a lot.

If English is not your native language and you want to do it as an AS, then I'm sure that you'd get suppport or if you just need the occasional meeting I'm sure your tutor will have an "open door" policy.

Also you'll find the class sizes are a lot smaller than in America, them being around 17-ish, but if it's a popular subject (which will depend on the school-for mine it's law, as it's one of the few in the area that does an A-level Law course) then it may be slightly bigger to around 25 students. (for my german there's only goona be about 7 of us, cos there's only one class in my year, and most aren't taking it for an A-level.)

so I have a pretty good english

"So I speak(you could say "have" as well) pretty good english"

But honestly, you do. I didn't know your first language wasn't English, well done! XD

Also in England we use metric/Imperial measures*, celcius for temperature, and some spellings are slightly different (eg: US=mom, UK=mum/mam (scottish))

*we still use mph# and stones (weight measure), some people especially older people still use imperial for everything. we don't use quarts or fl oz, we only use pints really. (beer can only be sold in pints!)

#because it'd cost too much too change all the signs to km/h!!

Like I'd said, I'm not american, I'm from SOUTH america so we, as well, us a metric system and are classes are smaller (about 25 people) I prefer English english, that's the main reason I'm choosing uk over usa, so I'm very open minded about spelling and accent.

"So I speak(you could say "have" as well) pretty good english"

 That's the kind of mistakes I usually make, since my country isn't an English-speaking one.
