Ni you chong wu ma? = "Do you have any pets?" (Chong wu=pet; you=to have)
Also-- Ni you shen me chong wu? = "What pets do you have?" (Shen me=what)
Wo you yi zhi mao= "I have one cat" (Mao=cat; zhi=measure word for cat/dog/etc)
Ta hen ke ai= "He/it is cute" (Ke ai= cute; ta= depending on the character you use, either he, she, or it [referring to an animal]; hen can mean very or it can be used when decribing something/yourself-- wo hen mang=I am busy)
If I wanted to say "He is really cute" I would say "ta zhen ke ai" (Zhen="really"/"real")
Ta jiao "Todd" (He/it is called "Todd")
Todd is very cute ^^
XDDD Yayy... I'm giving you online Mandarin lessons...?
... I could also say "Wo de mao zhen ke ai"-- My cat is very cute. (De=possessive word)
Also, on a completely unrelated note-- Please adopt a pangolin from my adoptable site! -points to link in sig- ^^
Randomness~~~ Look! A pancake! Da gai shi ni de? (Maybe it is yours?) XD
Oh, yeah: da gai=maybe... No idea how to say pancake, though just plain "cake" is dan gao.
