Hi everyone! I'm new here and I share this account with my friend. We don't have many pets...do you guys have any suggestions as to how to get more pets other than the pound?

well, here is how i do it...

ever mounth they come out with new free pets at the adoption page. i get aleast 10 or s of each. then wait for them to grow up. if i get dubbles of anything, i put it in a trades group.
i also am always seesing if the pound is open (which it usally isn't) and if there are no pets there that i don't already have, i get one that might be worth something and put it in my trades group (cuz i already have it)
if you keep doing this, you will set up a sizable trades group, and people will want to trade with you more.

i've been here since 2010 or so, so i have a good sized trades group.

oh and one more thing, don't feel shy to be the one to send trades. you need to get your name out there when it comes to trades.

Where i get pets:
Adopton center: they are all free, and new ones come out every mounth

The Pound: where you can get 1 pet per 24 hours, but it's usally not open.

When I was new, luckily my friend had an inactive account and aloud me to get on it and have some more valuable pets . But a lot of people don't have that option. To build up your 'tradefodder', go to the free pets board . A lot of people would be happy to give you pets (You can always ask me as well, I love to help out). Once you have a good stock of 20 or 30 recent commons / uncommons, start hunting and trading. Trade that set of 5 June 2011 uncommons for one December 2010 uncommon ! Do that maybe 3 or 4 times, then you can trade those December uncommons for one August uncommon, or maybe someone will even pay a June / July 2011 Rare ! You never know ! Its all about rarities on this game, and trade trade trade !
