Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: I have never formally helped but I was the first of my family and friends to join so I helped all of them get started. I occasionally answer in the is this a fair trade thread if it comes across my path.
Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I remember how hard it was to be a newbie. I am willing to help and I have a good understanding of the features and activities of cs. I can help a newbie to find and use different features and even trading, although I realize that trade help is not the main goal. I want to take a newbie under my wing and help show them the ropes. Also, my school is out right now so I have time to take care of my newbie. Maybe we can even be friends!
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I am on at least once a week but generally more than that, particularly without school, I am on almost every day. I am online for maybe a half hour at a time but sometimes longer. I stay as long as it takes me to handle my business, which could definitely be a longer time if my newbie needed help.
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: I read it!
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course!!

Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: I don't have any posts for it but when my sister joined I taught her everything I could, and it made me feel good. I would like to get better and feel more comfortable with helping, but I am fairly confident in what I have now.
Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I want to help, and I enjoy doing it. I want to make sure that my newbie doesn't make the same mistakes that I did when I was new, and learns some things I have. I hope that my inexperience won't turn you away and that you can see that I might be rocky at the start, but I learn fast.
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I am on CS almost everyday, but how long I am on ranges from 10 minutes to 6 hours. However, this is before the newbie. I promise to always make time for my newbie when I possibly can. Just letting you know, I will be on a camping trip until Friday of next week so please don't assign me anyone until then.

Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: I will do my best.

How did you find Chicken Smoothie?: I've known about it since 2013, but was too intimidated to really get into it until now
What do you like best so far?: I've been here for a month and am probably a bit past being a 'newbie' but I love collecting pets and trading them around. It's fun to adopt the monthlies and see them grow up. I still want to learn more about the other sections like the Oekaki boards but I'm not really sure how things go around there.
Any questions?: I don't have any specific questions rn, but I suppose I'm interested in clarification on how item<->pet trades work since that's... beyond me and I've pretty much been guessing. I'd also like more guidance on trading 'etiquette' because list pets and 'high demand' is still really confusing. Having more experienced users to go for trading advice/second opinions would be useful (I need all the help I can get tbh).

I no longer have links to the threads, but I was a moderator for a few user-created adoptables on here and I took over being the owner of Thimble Kitties for quite some time as well.
Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?:
I feel like I should be allowed to adopt a newbie because I've been on CS for quite some time now and I'd love to be able to help the new/younger users around the lovely site. I enjoy helping others and I am extremely responsible. I also have been pretty active lately and plan on keeping that up. I would also love to help as many new players as I can and save them from making common mistakes that I did when I was a new player and didn't have anyone around to help me out. I feel like trading, certain events, etc. all take some time to get used to participating in and I wish I would have had someone around to answer the numerous questions I had floating through my head when I first started.
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?:
I get on CS every day whenever I have free time. I can be on anywhere from fifteen minutes to three hours. It just depends on the day.

I read every single word!

I wholeheartedly agree to be polite and help my newbie at all times.

I've held a writing contest or two but that was a long time ago. Now I mostly gift randoms and comment information on posts if I have the advice they need.

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?:
I think I should be able to adopt a newbie because I have been playing off and on since 2010 or 2011 and as such, have a great understanding of the site, even parts I don't use. Another reason is because I remember it being pretty difficult when I was a newbie due to not understanding certain things and having a hard time trading with limited pets and items. I made many unfair trades starting out and hope to help someone else avoid that.

Before, I wasn't on often but now I can be on for awhile almost every day or every other day at least.
