Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: I definitely have helped people, but I unfortunately don't know where to find specific instances (if that is necessary I can dedicate some time to do that later this week!). Some examples I can think of: when newer members send me trades that are unfair (either to me or to them), I will edit the trade and explain in my message why it was unfair and how they could improve it, rather than canceling (if unfair to me) or, if unfair to them, benefiting from their lack of experience. On occasion I have also had new members reach out to ask me questions about the forums and trading mechanics (a specific time I recall is someone asking me what it meant to "bump" a thread). Also, this isn't really a direct way of helping, but I run an adoption center that many new members adopt from!
Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I have been active on CS for a long time now and am very familiar with all of its components! While I spend most of my time online running my adoption center and negotiating trades, I would really love to be more involved with the CS community. I have a lot of real-world experience helping people: for three years at college I held a mentorship role in which I helped first-year students adjust to life on campus, and I also spent time tutoring! Of course that's not quite the same as helping someone navigate a virtual pet adoption site, but I just wanted to point out that I'm no stranger to helping guide others through new experiences. (:
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I check CS at least once a day to respond to trades, adopt new pets or pets from the pound, and/or partake in holiday events. I will spend a few (2-4) hours on the site several days a week, but at the very least I'm on for a few minutes every day. Also, I live in Eastern Time, and am generally most active in the afternoon and evening!
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Yep!
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course!
