A fursona is an animal or creature which represents you.
Don't mix them up with (original) characters which have not much to do with yourself except you designed them.

Well it helps to research the value of the pet by asking and talking in *insert month here* discussions. You may have a rare and not even know it! Adopt lots of pets to increase your chances of getting one, because many outcomes can come from one design/breed
