Basically, with rarities and rares these are the main rules that apply:

✧Dogs and sitting cats are the animals most wanted; ponies and rats are the least wanted.
✦ A 2013 uncommon is worth a 2014 rare.
That's really the two main things that people are always chattering about. Hope this helps a little!

Pretty sure that the statement in bold isn't correct A 2013 rare is worth a mid '11 uncommon, so a 2014 rare would be worth a mid '12 uncommon I believe

Also dogs are some of the most wanted animals, but dragons and malk creatures can be pretty popular as well. I would ponies and horses are more wanted than rats. Rats and spiders usually have low demand.
