Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: When I was a newbie, I didn't have anyone to help me around - I learned the ropes myself, and because of that, I made quite a lot of mistakes that I regret. I don't want any other newbie to go through all that trouble - I don't want them to regret anything on CS. =) Also, I want to give them the best introduction to the CS world - I want to make sure that they enjoy every single moment of their time here. ^.^
I finished coaching my first newbie quite some time ago, and I think I'm ready to take on another. <3
Also, I haven't been on in quite a while, so I think I'm long overdue to help out. =))
How often do you get on CS?: At most, every single day of the week. If not, roughly five days a week.
Which categories would you like to apply for?:
General Knowledge
Forums
Roleplaying
Trading and Pets
Rarities
Rares List (I'm already on it for Advents. ^.^)
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?:
Over two hours, I guess. Sometimes I'm on for over 12 hours. XD
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course! ^.^
RP Example:
aireiya luminaire skylar
{ fallen elf } { female } { 18 years } { - }
The Kenliare woods were silent at this time of day, which was not unwelcome to her. Under the cover of the bushes, she crept up on the deer, nocking an arrow as she moved. A faint rustle caught her attention but she paid no heed to it, instead keeping her focus completely on the deer. She paused for a second to breathe before loosing the arrow. Said arrow hit the deer in a critical spot and it fell to the floor in a heap.
'A clean kill,' she commented as she stood up to stretch - crouching for long periods of time was not one of her strengths - before making her way to her prize. The townsfolk had been running low on meat recently and it seemed like she was one of the only hunters left that dared to venture further than usual to obtain what they needed.
Sighing, she quickly skinned the deer and cleaned it up as best as she could, putting all those bloody things, namely the pelt and the meat, in a separate bag. The woods were getting dark and she didn't want to be outside when night fell. Once she was done, she stood up again and ran in the direction of the setting sun - the town gates wouldn't be open for much longer, and if she didn't want to have to lug her stuff over the walls, she'd better step up the pace. Putting two fingers to her lips, she blew - while running. Being a multi-tasker was one of her strange specialties.
A horse came up from her right and she jumped onto its back before urging it on. "Go Aella!" she cried, grabbing onto the equine's mane. As usual, her mount was without tack, for she guessed that the numerous straps and bits would simply get caught on the various branches and other such things and thus she opted to go without them. She spotted the town in the distance after a few minutes and quickly yelled out for them to halt the closing of the gates for a moment. As soon as she was inside the town, the two men shut the large wooden doors, effectively encasing them within the limited space that the town boasted. Dismounting, she glanced around - the lanterns in the streets were lit, but most of the shophouses were closed, probably because no one wanted to be out at night - the disappearances of several from the town made sure of that. Aella nudged her just then and she broke out of the trance she was in. "Let's go home," she murmured to the equine as the two made their way to the center of the town.
Taken from this RP. I just revamped the header. =)

They haven't been adopted through this thread before, but no matter. :3
If they don't need any help, you can keep your place on the list. ^^

What areas do you want explained?: I'd like to know about trading and what is fair, especially when it comes to C$ and the rares lists.
Do you speak another language, and if so which one?: Just english
How did you find Chicken Smoothie?: I bought this computer off of a kid at school and this was one of the bookmarks so I figured I would check it out...
What do you like best so far?: The pets and trading, though I do wish it was easier for newer people to get pets that have more value in trades.
Any questions?: How does the Rares list and C$ incorporate itself into trade values?
