Adopt a Newbie - Moving to new thread

Escuse me, I don't mean to sound demanding, but I was given a newbie a few weeks ago after waiting for a few months, and they said that they had already been given a helper, and I am very confused now O.o Could I be given another newbie or do I have to wait again? Its fine either way ^^

Some people jump to help a newbie even if they haven't joined Adopt a Newbie. So some newbies get helpers before they're assigned one and we're not told. Er, which newbie was it? I can try checking the list.

Yes, and I'll add you back on the top of the list as well. Some people just skip in line and take a newbie rather than waiting thier turn. Yes there is a long wait, but not much we can do about it. :/

As you may have just now noticed, the list for people wanted to adopt is fairly large right now. You are still free to post here and want to be an adopter but please understand this is first-come first-serve. The people at the top of the list will be getting the next newbie. So your wait my take a while simply because we are not getting a lot of newbies coming in here.
If you posted a form, but you are not on the list post here letting me know. Its possible we missed your form.

May I suggest to everyone that if they want to try to get more newbies to this place, browsing around on the introduction threads and posting a link to this place would be a great idea. You can say hi or welcome and if they say they're looking for help or don't know what to do, ect., toss up a link to here and briefly explain what it is. This will help get the word out.
