Adopt a Newbie - Moving to new thread

Yeah, um, hi. I joined this like last year and I still have yet to be assigned my first newbie. Not rushing or anything... I really don't mind, I'm just really anxious

The list is fairly long, and it does take quite a long time to receive your newbie due to the length. We keep track and remove everyone who has received their newbie and who has not yet so no one is left behind / given two at once. We had a mass list cleaning where Noleah sent out PM's to everyone on the old list and checking if they'd still like to participate, their activity, if they met the new requirements, etc. I searched for your name but did not find it on the list, you may have not met the new requirements, changed your username, or did not respond to a PM. Their is also a slight possibility we missed you, mistakes happen. For future reference though, this is considered spam.^^ [ So is telling us you changed your username, etc. Though in this case if you did, what was the previous one? It may be different on the List, I have to check if you're up there or why you aren't. ]

I did not get a PM, yet my old username was wiped off the list, that's why I did another form and yes I did do a username switch. I was ~R~

Your old username, ~R~ is on the list under General Knowledge, Forums, BBCode, and Trading and Pets.
It is still rather near-ish the bottom, which could explain your waiting time. Since these categories are ones with a lot of people in, you'll find that it will take longer to get to your name than someone who is in Rarities or Rares List, because those categories are much smaller.
We never change usernames on the list, simply because it's impossible to keep up with all the changes people put in place. ^^

The front page is not updated so much, because noleah is very busy. Instead we occasionally post updates ourselves.
But since it's been a good 7 pages since Panne posted an update, I'll put one at the bottom of this post. ^^

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?; I think I'm an experienced and rather friendly member that participates in a lot of conversation on CS, so I could be helpful to some newbies that are a bit shy with branching out.

How often do you get on CS?; I get on for about 2-5 hours every day, so I say I'm pretty active.

Which categories would you like to apply for?; Forums, General Knowledge, Trading & Pets, and BB Code.

How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?; As said above, 2-5 hours at the least but sometimes I can spend up to 8 hours on CS.

Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?; Totally! Check any of my posts and you can see I don't try to be impolite or rude with anybody.


Thank you for letting me apply! I've done this before, except the newbie I was given wasn't very active, I don't think. They didn't reply to my messages. Anyways, I hope to get a newbie.. in.. some.. time (as the list is long).
