Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?:
I actually adopted a newbie before and was considering coming back to help again. I have lots of free time when my roleplay partners aren't online and I know lots of things about CS. I've answered people's questions in PM whenever they've asked me and decided it's time to help a person 1x1.
How often do you get on CS?:
Every single day. For quite a few hours a day, even during the school year.

How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?:
Usually all day. Whenever I have nothing planned and no vacations, most of my hours are spent on Chicken Smoothie.

The characters on the screen, however stupid they were, always semed to interest Joshua more than the real world outside. Or his roommate, at that.
His own smaller, more fragile wings stretched out and splayed on the ground. Joshua occasionally flapped one a few tomes then the other, and rested till commercial break came. He worked his pent-up wings on the commercials but rested during the shows.

When I first joined CS I was completely on my own. It was confusing and I found the more experienced players quite intimidating. I'd love to be able to ease a newbie's transition into the CS community and make it as enjoyable of an experience as possible.

RP Example:
In the waning light rests a tent. Not one, but many, billowing out in brilliantly stark stripes of black and white. Yellowing fliers, tacked to every available surface, depict wild and freakish acts. Promises of inhuman creatures and phenomenal talents coax bystanders into the largest tent. Many hesitate at the entrance, glancing nervously behind them. A brave few enter and feel their way blindly to their seats. An all-consuming kind of dark fills the tent. The kind that swarms around you, forcing its way into your pores.
The lights go up. Perched lithely on a platform is a young man, top hat tipped forward, revealing only a Cheshire grin. He leans towards a microphone, hands clasped behind his back.
"Welcome," the ringleader pauses, grin widening "to Death's Circus."
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?:
I'm not quite sure how much time it actually adds up to, but I check CS periodically throughout the day. I usually stop in for somewhere between thirty minutes and an hour at a time.
