You are welcome to ask a few members if they'd like help, however I'd like everyone to steer clear of spamming, as I'm pretty sure advertising like that is probably against the site guidelines. So I would say maybe just a few members, and only direct them here if they do want help. I don't want everyone to go pouncing all the new members and then hear about it from mods or anything!

Also, a heads up to everyone - I will be gone from *now* til tomorrow night or Monday morning! Visiting my family and working all weekend.

I'd like to join but it seems like a lot of people are waiting to adopt... so if anyone needs any help with a newbie they're already helping, I'd be glad to help. But for now, I think I'll just wait on adopting and will start trying to direct newbies over here. :3

Hm, I will definitely look into it Monday morning; I am staying with family for the weekend and therefore don't have access to the files saved on my computer.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: This is a great idea, I believe I meet all requirements and I'm fretting that I don't, I really want to have a pet Newbie to look after <3
Why do you want to?: I often scroll around the help/suggestions forums, and I often get PMs asking for help, I also get alot of trades, but it's hard to tell someone about rarities because most of them are COPPA... So I want to change that somehow.. I'll think on it.
Are you going to help them whenever they need it?: Sure can and sure will, in online almost every day, you'll find me rping alot and drawing in the oekaki and just having fun with my account. I'll type up a whole welcome and introduction paragraph that I can use for newbies, with links and everything. Omigosh I just thought of what I can do with the trade thing, I'll edit my trade rules and turn it into a whole fun thing on how to trade (I'll start that on my iPod notes soon).. Anyway I hope I'll be able to adopt a newbie, then watch them grow then graduate then I can adopt a new newbie ouo <3

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I've been on CS for over two years now, and I've owned a popular fan club which I now still am a mod for {this proves that I get how the forum works and I can explain it and help people out}. I know my rarities really well and I feel as if I would be able to explain them to someone who didn't know them. I wouldn't mind doing 'practice trades' back and forth with a newbie either, so that they could practice trading and such. I think I am a generally kind person as well, someone who could help someone out. I have never gotten into a fight online and I have no board warnings thus far {I will be keeping it this way}. I know my way around the oekaki, so if I get someone who would like to do art I'll know how to help them out.
Why do you want to?: I want to be able to help out and make a difference in someone's CS experience. I want to help someone not regret their early times on CS and I want to show them how the community on CS is a wonderful and enjoyable place to be.
Are you going to help them whenever they need it?: Of course. My PM box will always be open.
{If you have a newbie who is a fan of MLP, Harry Potter or the Hunger Games, please send them my way, I would love to work with someone who shares a common intrest. It's alright if you don't, though.}

I'll also look into the accuracy of the list and a couple others things that people have talked to me about.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I should be able to adopt a newbie because I am a friendly, fun, and helpful person. I know a lot about CS, and have experience with forums and newbies (as I own a newbie adoption thread on another site). I am use to helping out those in need, and I'm a very patient person. I am active on this website, and many others, so if the newbie has a preference we can do things together on other sites. I know my way around, and even though I have a lack of posts, it is made up with my general knowledge of how to handle certain situations and answer questions in a respectful, appropriate manner. =3
Why do you want to?: I in general adore helping others. I am a moderator on other sites so I am known for helping out. x3 I have been around CS for a very long time, and know quite a bit about it. ^^
Are you going to help them whenever they need it?: Of course, I come online at least once a day for a couple hours, so I definitely have time for a newbie. :3
