1. Is there a limited amount of pets you can adopt?
2. Somebody has asked me to trade with them; they are offering me four common pets and two new zealand flag thingys and they want six of my new pets...I'm not sure if I should trade or not since I don't know what form my pups will grow into...What do you suggest?
3. I'm a little confused about the Oekaki guide...I'm not really sure what you draw in it, how you use it and what you do with your finished drawings.
Thanks for posting this topic!

1. When you go to adopt a pet (under "Adopt", then under a species), pick a pet and click "Adopt Me". From there, there should be a drop down that asks how many you want to adopt. Whatever the highest number is, that is the limit for that specific pet. Each newborn has a different limit, some have a limit of 2, while others may have a limit of 12 (this is generally for litters that have many many outcomes such as 8, as opposed to something like 4). Thus, I suggest you adopt as many as you can of each pet. :] Even if you don't like it, you can always trade it away for something you do like.
2. Until your pets grow up, I would suggest not trading away newborns. However, you can generally safely swap newborns of the same month at the monthly swap thread. You can find the thread under the
CS Trades board. Under the green bar that says "Topics | Replies | Views | Last Post", you'll see the stickied topic called "Official (MONTH) (YEAR) Swaps Thread", and for this month, it would be
this thread. Otherwise, if you're not sure, I would highly highly suggest posting on the
Is This A Fair Trade thread. You can get other opinions on what trades are fair. Be sure to read the whole first post though, as there are rules and the like.
3. From my knowledge, there isn't a guide (though I'm planning on making one soon). The best I can tell you for now is to experiment. The pencil and brush tools are to draw with, and the Tools box has the options of things like "Opacity" (how much the brush stroke appears, for example 10% is very light and 100% is very dark) and brush size, etc. The eraser erases your strokes, and there's the airbrush wish is like a soft brush (instead of a hard edge, it has a soft edge). The layers are like different pieces of paper, which is how I like to imagine it. It's all on the same drawing, but if you erase on one layer, it will only erase on that layer, you will not erase a marking on another layer (which really comes in handy when you're coloring in drawings and you don't want to accidentally erase the outline). When you're finished, at the top, you can click "File" and then either save it (which will save and allow you to upload) or you can save it as a draft if you need to come back later (drafts can be viewed below the Oekaki drawing area). I know it's not the best explanation, but I hope it gets you started, and I will try to remember to link you to the tutorial when I make it. ^^ The best I can say for now is to experiment, otherwise, please feel free to ask any questions you might have.
