So did they PM you or you PM them? Sorry, you've been unclear and said both in different places.
Either way, your choice is yours; order and rules are needed for this thread to keep things fair and give everyone an opportunity, though of course it depends on how many newbies and adopters sign up here.
Since our adopters so greatly outnumber the newbies that have signed up to be adopted, the list keeps people in order that they signed up so that no one has to wait for weeks while someone else gets a newbie right away.

I can make a list of people who aren't yet technically qualified as stated in the rules, but your odds of being needed are slim, to be honest. We have roughly 45 people waiting on newbies to sign up right now, and that's not including people who have tried to sign up without meeting the thread's requirements (about 4 people).
Honestly, even if I put you on the main list right now, it'd still probably be a while before you got a newbie. One of the most recent people to get a newbie (Monday) signed up around March 12, to give you an idea of the current wait.
Really it all comes down to experience - many of the people who have signed up are from 2008-2010 which is great because they will probably have a lot of experience, so that's drastically different from people who have barely been here for six months.
If you want, I can go ahead and take down your name and see how things go - if things pick up within the next month I could maybe let you know?

could you put my name on the bottom of the main list since it will probably be a while since I will get a newby and by that time I will meet the requirments.?

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: Becuase I remember hard times when i was a newbie, and I dont want others to go through all that. Im respectful and I care for others and im very responsible and expirenced, and I'm not afriad to answer questions.
Why do you want to?: To help others learn about CS and to help them understand everything fun/rule wise on CS!
Are you going to help them whenever they need it?: Yes. I'll give help to them when they need it.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: Because I think it's an awesome thing to do; as when I was a newbie I didn't learn much from CS players, and I started out the wrong way. I know a ton of stuff about CS, and I'd love to help someone.
Why do you want to?: I think it's an awesome chance to get to really help out (: It's a very nice thing to do. It gives newbies the chance to get the help they may need to play CS in a fun way.
Are you going to help them whenever they need it?: Most definately c: I'll help them out as much as I can c:
