If you are not fluent in English, what is your preferred language?:
English is fine!

How did you find Chicken Smoothie?:
I don't remember how I originally found it over 9 years ago, but some friends on Discord talking about their pets got me to remember I have an account and return.

What do you like best so far?:
Rediscovering the variety of pets I have! It has been fun being surprised while going through the pages, and meditative to sort them all.

Any questions?:
- What are common objectives people might set themselves? I dimly remember having previously wanted to collect all pets from 2015, but no longer really care about that now.
- How do I effectively find trades so I can turn my hoard of old pets into ones I actually want to keep? I don't even know where to start in advertising or approaching people. I know there ought to be someone interested in old pets, right? But how to find them is the question.

Languages that you are fluent in (besides English): None, though I can speak some other languages conversationally.

Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: I like to think so! I have provided advice and support in the support threads like "The Comfort Corner" and "LGBTQ+" threads. I try to offer help and support in pms or where it seems needed. I have received pet and item gifts occasionally as a result of this. I have had a few online friends join CS over the years and I've helped them navigate and get acquainted with the site and site functions. My goal in participating in this program is to help more users, particularly new members who need support. As someone who has been a member of this site for over 10 years now, having grown into an adult and now having a unique position that allows me to be online frequently, I feel I am able to provide support to new users and would love to spend me time doing so.

Some examples include but are not exclusive to: Link 1 - Link 2

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: As an adult member, I consider it part of my responsibility to help create and foster a supportive and inclusive environment here on CS. When I first joined in 2013, I had a hard time navigating the site and learning about everything involved here. From forum and site rules to oekaki, roleplay and forum discussions and games, this is only one aspect of CS. On the other hand, there is trading and rarity systems. There are so many questions! I would love to be a trusted member others, particularly new members can rely on and look to for support here on CS! Offline, I have worked in many support roles for both youth and adults from being an art teacher to a supervisor, I am confident I have had extensive experience in similar roles that would help me be the best support of comfort and assistance to new users.

How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I am on CS throughout the day every day! So I am available the majority of the time. The longest a member might wait for a response is an hour or two unless I am sleeping. I am home the majority of the day and studying for my degree in web design so I am often on the computer.

Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Yes! I read everything including the FAQ to ensure I understood what was expected of me when applying. I would very much like to participate in this program.

Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Absolutely! My goal is to provide support and friendship to newbies and I understand how daunting navigating and overwhelming a new website with a lot of information can be. It can be easy to make mistakes or become overwhelmed so I am hoping I can help new members navigate and overcome that!

    - Besides the popular goal of working toward a complete collection, many people tend to focus on a particular species. Other common goals I've seen is to focus on collecting PPS pets or pets from particular holiday events, like summer or Halloween. Smaller collections like staff litter pets or Christmas reindeer litter pets are also pretty popular. When she was on the site, my sister used to collect all blue pets, which I always thought was really neat c: My advice here is to figure out what kind of pet you like and work on a goal that involves collecting that, whether it be pets from a favorite artist or a particular aesthetic, you'll be sure to enjojy the game more if you enjoy progressing in whatever goal you're striving towards!
    - I would suggest defining a goal first and updating your wish list accordingly. People will be more likely to trade with you if they know what you're looking for. Working on a short & clear set of trading rules helps a lot as well, in my opinion. Finally, you can look for users to trade with on the CS Trades board, and make your own thread so users can find you c:

If you are not fluent in English, what is your preferred language?: I'm fluent in English!
How did you find Chicken Smoothie?: I've seen it around a lot since I started playing pet sites, but one of my friends wanting to have a fresh start inspired me to make an account ^^
What do you like best so far?: Hard tie between the stunning dragon designs and the limitless collectability of the pets. It is so refreshing not having a limit on how many you can own haha
Any questions?: I've got a few if that's alright. mainly just wondering what customs are, what oekaki is, and if there's anything in particular I should know about that I might've missed.

Languages that you are fluent in (besides English): I am not fluent and any other language, other than English.
Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: I’ve not helped anyone that I know of. Usually, I don’t see that many new players posting so people know where to find everything. But if supporting let her known/newer to Oekaki artists is helping then I’d like to think that I help quite a bit :) (also occasionally I help out on the “ is this a fair trade” post)
Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I am on the site very frequently unless I’m taking vacation (which I took one last month so I won’t be taking another for a while). I enjoy helping others and I’ve helped on other sites like goatlings. I once sent an under age application. And now that my account is old enough, I would like to send in a real one. Every new person on this site needs a friend. Most people I know have stayed for the friendships :) I believe that everyone on the site should be accepting of all and kind to those similar and different from them. Due to being active most days I would be around a lot of the time to answer the newbies questions And help them along as they explore the site. I wish I had known about this part of the site when I first began. I now know how to navigate the site and help others with it! I think this is why I should be able to adopt a newbie, if my application is rejected, I understand.
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: CS it’s the way I pass most of my time. I am on for at least a few hours a day. Usually longer if I’m feeling creative that day or the pound will be opening!
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: I read and understand all of the adopter information. All of them are valid rules.
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course! I promised to be helpful and polite to any and every newbie I get!

Thank you for reading this, I hope you have a great day

Hello newbies! Since you both asked about oekaki, I figured I would point you toward the oekaki FAQ while you wait to get adopted. It's got all the basics c:

Languages that you are fluent in (besides English): Sadly none :c
Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: Sadly not yet! <3
Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: As mentioned in the beginning of the post, when I first joined I had absolutely no idea what I was doing on the site. I saw cute adoptables, animals and just went with it. It took me a long time to understand the basics of the website and how to properly use it. Once you get to playing CS for a long time, it gets easier to use, but to someone who's just joining it can be a LOT to handle! I'm a big people person -- inside and outside of the internet! I love talking to people, making friends and especially helping people when I can. If I can make it a difference for someone on here in the best ay possible I'd love to do so. I want to make people feel welcomed on CS without feeling overwhelmed and confused to the best I can do. : )
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I get on everyday; and I'd say at minimum I'm on for 3 hours a day total.
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Sure did!
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Absolutely!

What do you like best so far?: Def the adopts! Im a reptile fan and all the snakes/dragons are so cutee!! I also like the swap threads, i could get the ones i don't have with the dupes!
Any questions?: I think COPPA means players with no post, but im not too sure, so what does COPPA means? Also is there a vocab thread where i can check all the terms used here?
