Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I've been on this sight for years and I just wanna help other experience what i had growing up. I was a dumb little kid and no one really helped me out without being kinda condescending or just being un-helpful. I wanna help others and make them feel comfortable asking questions if they don't get it at first. I want them to be able to get the same good experience as i did and help them not make some mistakes i have in the past.
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: Im on a lot. I check cs a lot and when im on I am usually on for hours at a time. i just am on a lot
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Yup!
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course, i never want anyone to feel dumb for asking questions

How did you find Chicken Smoothie?: someone talking about it on another forum website! they had only good things to say and the pet feature sounded fun, so i came over here to check it out. :P

Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: I don't believe I have helped someone majorly on CS yet. Most of the time a question in forums is answered before I answer.
Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I have been a member of CS for almost 7 years now. I have a pretty good feel for the site and I believe that I would be able to help any newcomers with any questions that they may have. If I don't know an answer right away, or even if I don't know the correct answer, I am willing to dig until I find it for them. I would love to be able to help someone new learn the ropes, and maybe even form a CS friendship. I want anyone who joins to feel welcome in the community. I remember being new, it was a little frightening! I don't want anyone else to feel like that.
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I check CS daily, unless something has come up in my personal life. I am usually on for at least a couple hours a night.
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: I do.

1. Why can't adult users say their age? I understand that CS wants to keep it safe for everyone, but adults can make that decision.

2. Are there rares in monthly adopts?

3. How long before I can post images without staff approval?

4. Will sharing the same IP Address as another user gets you banned? I accepted 2 trades for art payment from someone I use the same IP Address with, will we get banned?

5. When do summer Events start? How long do they run for?

1. Adults sharing their age may encourage younger users to share their age as well.

2. I can't remember it ever happening, but it is possible. Rarity is determined based on how many of the pet is owned across all active accounts.

3. CS has a system which scans for images which might be from unsafe sources. Posts containing such images need to go through manual approval before showing up, to make sure it is safe to view. If the post is edited it needs to be approved again, and newer users tend to need images approved more often. Sometimes, posts made after an image post will also need to be approved, even if they don't include an image, this is normal.

4. No, it will not. As long as all trades are fair, and one user isn't constantly sending things to the other and never getting anything in return, it will be fine.

5. There is no recurring date each year. In the past, this is when summer events have started:

Alright, for getting someone's attention in a forum, do we @ them or quote them? I am familiar with BBCode, but I wasn't sure if either one pings someone letting them know someone responded to them. Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I should be allowed to adopt a newbie because I feel that I've had enough experience on Chicken Smoothie to help out with other players new to the site, I also know quite a few smaller details about the site to help out with others!
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I am on every day, time depends on what I'm doing but at least 3-4 hours a day
