I would highly recommend checking out the "Is this a fair trade?" thread, as many users will be able to help you to determine if a trade is fair.

There are several ways to make friends on CS. You can always post in the introduction forum, check out the Clubs & Armies, post in the roleplay forums, Entertainment section, or just about anything! It's very easy to make friends on here as a lot of people are very welcoming and friendly (:

Hi! I just joined this game yesterday, I think I've gotten the hang of adopting pets, but I know there's going to be a lot more to the website than just (adorable) pets!

How did you find Chicken Smoothie?: One of my friends from Animal Jam was telling me about it, and I decided to see what it was!
What do you like best so far?: I love all the adorable pets! I've gone through the Archives (up to 2016 so far, I think) adding them to my pet wish list.
Any questions?: I'm mostly interested in finding out some of the other interesting things you can do here, and maybe making some friends my own age (Animal Jam is super fun, but most of the people who want to talk are much younger than me)!

If they don't contact you within around a week, or if you're having other problems such as they're being rude to you, you don't understand their explanations, or anything like that, you can PM one of our thread mods, and we will assign you to a new adopter as soon as we can.

I'm not sure what you mean by building your account, but you can adopt pets each month and during some special events here. In addition, you can trade for pets from other players. There is a Free Adoption forum area where you can potentially get free pets.
