as most of you will be aware, for the past few months we've been slowly transforming our old horses and ponies to move them onto our modern lineart. More information and discussion about this change can be found here.
Some of the replacement images and linearts are still being made, so we're not sure yet when the whole set will be completed. However we are now ready to show off one of the new lines!
The "rainbow mane" horse and its relatives were promised a special lineart. The adult version of those lines has been completed and is shown here:
The new version was drawn by Yulynh and she's tried to keep it similar to the original pose and arab style so that it is like a throw-back to the past, without being a clone of a photograph.
The only old horses which will be replaced with this lineart are the whole "rainbow mane" litter:

EDIT: We've released the updates for these litters now
the lineart color has been changed to a dark brown to better suit the coat color so they don't actually look identical to the example image above, they look like this:it's possible that some future litters will be made on these lines occasionally, like our drafts and other special new linearts.
