to all the applicants for the Roleplay Moderator position: Thanks for being patient! I was offline for about a week after the applications closed so it has taken even longer than expected to get through the applications and select new staff.
As usual, there were just so many amazing members who are interested in becoming CS team members, so we have had a really tough time choosing from the applications. With that much competition, obviously not everyone can be successful, so I'm sorry if you missed out this time. But let's congratulate those who made it through and help them feel welcome

In other news, we have had a few staff changes recently
Compumon will be retiring from her Global Moderator position this month. Compumon has been with the team since mid 2009, and has helped keep CS clean and friendly for countless users over the years. She's seen CS grow and change and has always been there to help us implement new rules and additions for the site. Sadly, now it has come time for her to move on to other things, so now's the time to share our thanks and farewells
Fiery Gatoh is changing her role from Oekaki Moderator to Global Moderator. She's been with CS since the beginning and has lent a hand in many different tasks, so this will be the latest of many titles for her. If you spot an unfamiliar Green staff member, you're probably looking at one of our oldest staff members, not a newbie!
