@InternSeraph just for clarification, i'm not OP and never suggested replacing anything, nor "backtracked" i merely replied that id like to see items supporting palestine as well, however i very much realize this was not the correct place to voice that so i apologize.

For Hanukah I'd love to see deers, antlers could be different style menoras /& lighting everyday (I found only 1 in the whole archive, though it seems like an obvious choice to me)
For kwanza, since it is insored from African traditions, lions in theme seem a must to me (I hope this is not triggering, disclaimer I'm slav-european not celebrating either)

So, I don't know much about Kwanzaa. But what about pets representing art and fashion patterns from various African countries and tribes? To honour the various heritages? At the Afroamerican community: Please correct me, if that would be insensitive and unfitting.

About Hannukkah: I agree with multiple other comments, that it's probably the least versatile of Jewish holidays, as we've seen with the similarities of the animal patterns over the past decade: blue, candles and Sufganiyot.^^' Don't think the Jewish community would mind exchanging Hannukah with eg Pessach in the future instead. But regarding Hannukah: I also think that growing/melting candle pets like snakes would be interesting.
I don't think it'll end well to add Palestine flags to the holiday, which will be associated too politically by many in the community. If anything, it should be its own category, eg as item releases. It'll still spark controversies, obviously, but not to the extent an animal release event would.

Would love to see Snakes, Otters, and Bears represented. (I know Bears are just a customized Dog template, but how cute would little polar bears be?!)
- There are some really pretty stained glass Star of David ornaments. I think Snakes could look cool this way, with blocks of scales made to look like stained glass. Butterfly wolves would also make a great stained glass base.
- I don't know if it would look too Easter Bunny, but gelt Otters would be cute XD. They start as gold foil, and then some evolutions peel back to show the chocolate otter underneath. And one final evolution is a fully unwrapped chocolate otter with a bite taken out of its tail XD. You need the menorah printed on their side though, to make it work. Maybe something rounder, more coin-shaped, would be a better base, like a Hamster?
- Porcelain Polar Bears. White bears with cobalt blue dreidel symbol "cutie marks", and extra blue swirlies or patterns.

A couple years ago, CS had a S'Mores special release XD. It started as a marshmallow, and then evolved to get cooked, then burnt, then on fire, and finally a S'Mores sandwich. I would love to see that done with a latke! Start as a potato, become a shredded potato, become a fried potato pancake, become a screaming burnt pancake, become a cute latke with a dollop of sour cream swirled on its head. XD

this is so silly, but what if y'all did worms on a string in the Kwanzaa candle colors? think it could be fun and simple but also unique!!

Hey everyone!

Just a quick reminder to keep the suggestions and discussion here on the topic of celebrating the holidays of Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. These holidays are celebrated by many people around the world and neither represent nor exclude any specific countries or political beliefs.

Please also remember that CS is not the place for real-world political topics.

If you have any designs you'd like to suggest unrelated to the holidays, you're welcome to do so here: pets/items

For Hanukkah, I saw a lot of either mentioning Challah snakes which would be SO cute! I also think it would be fun to have Challah ponies sort of like as braids somewhat like the pony from St. Patrick's 2021!

Any hamantaschen themed pet would be fun too :3 i love food themed ones

I think I saw at least one other person suggest it earlier, so I'll second the idea of making a set of pets based on the seven principles of Kwanzaa (I'm pretty sure this has been done before but it's been a long time). It could be a recurring thing, choosing a different pet lineart each year if you guys decide to keep Kwanzaa on the winter holiday roster. Oh! And some books as an item gift would be awesome too
