What date did you register as a CS member?:
I registered on November 27th, 2013.
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
Currently I have 6422 posts.
Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: (If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the first post again)
Yes, I am.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
7 days a week, unless something personal comes up.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Like many others, I tend to spend an hour or so on CS before disappearing and then coming back on. Altogether, it's between 4-9 hours depending on how busy I am.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I've modded for my adoption center but that's really just it. I may seem unexperienced, but practice makes perfect.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS?
The main reason why I wanted to become a global moderator was because I thought it would give me some more experience with children as my dream is to become a pediatrician. I also do admit that when I first joined, I was inappriopriate and thought warnings were just a joke. Since then, I've become more mature and I wanted to prove to the community that I have changed. The last reason is because this community has given me a lot and I would love to give back by helping out.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
Since I've owned a couple of free adopt topics, I've had to issue out warnings and deal with angry members after. It's not exactly pleasant, but I've learned how to keep calm and deal with people who get mad after I tell them something that they don't like.
