I strongly support the idea of being able to adjust whether store pets or special releases should count towards a full collection. Both of these categories can be nearly impossible to acquire for players with no access to money and/or no valuable pets.

Also I was wondering if there is a significant time between receiving a pet to complete a month and having the blue square being replaced with the green tick? I've just received a last pet for a certain month of 2013 (that I thought had been complete for ages, ugh) but no matter how often I refresh the archive, the quare stays (and I have triple checked whether I've missed another pet).

In the pet archive there's a new button "show completed months", which'll show you which months and years you've got a complete collection for. You can also filter the results by species or artist.

It shows a blue square next to months where you own some of the pets, a red cross where you don't own any of those pets, and a green tick where you own all of the pets from that month. It'll look like this:

The 'store pets' categories don't get counted in this total because we consider these to be separate from the regular pets.
