What would be considered forms of art theft?

Well, if you were making a roleplay form and you stole a random image from Google that looked too real and not a drawing and you put it in your form, that is considered art theft.

Also, showing art that isn't yours but you CLAIM that is yours is a really bad form of art theft.

Retracing either a real photo/someone's else art and just customizing it is considered art theft.

Actually, some images on Google CAN be nabbed and used without being declared as, 'art theft'. You just have to know which images are free to use as non-profit by filtering your search.

Taking drawings that are not yours, but you have permission to edit/trace over/colour them in, is not considered art theft but if it's requested by the original artist that you not do any of the following including repost then that is considered art theft.
Most websites that contain 'makers' are usually free to upload/repost in other places and you can also make a profit off of them but it's not always the case so it's best to look about before doing so if you want to avoid art theft.
You can reference real photos but it has to be done properly and as previously stated it has to be a picture that is free to use.

Same goes for photomanipulation or collages.They have to be made with images you are able to use not just any image.

That's just my 2 cents.

Ah! I did not notice that filter, what I meant was you have to be careful at you're nabbing first and not just taking something without checking where It's from. Yes, you need permission first. Sorry I did not go over detailed with what I'm saying. Thanks for the clarification! c:

I don't see any staff that have usernames for like an official character or movie/book/tv show like I do.

So is having a username for something that exists, not allowed? Or is it? (Sorry kinda confusing. I don't know how to word out this question properly)

If its not allowed, I would change my user in a heartbeat. I've been waiting so long for the opportunity to try out for a position. I wouldn't want it to be ruined by a username

Though, if you do get chosen, you can step down at any time.
