Do you get the grey screen when you open up the oekaki or someother time?

Once I click new drawing, then choose the screen size, the place where there is supposed to have the white screen with the tools is just the grey. Hope that made sense.

Yeah, that makes sense. Did you try my seggestion on the last page? The steps were written with windows 7 in mind but it should work with most other systems. If you'd like i could help a little better through PMs. So long as you can find configure java it should be clean sailing from there

Amazing job Nick! This is the first time I've been able to enter the oekaki drawing tool in OVER a year. I really hope that maybe now I can finally get back into drawing on the oekaki (though SAI will always be my preferred method of digital drawing). Thank you from all of us, I am positive I am not the only one who is completely over joyed at this new update.

If people are still having java related problems, I've found a fix. I'm not great at explaining things but I'll try best I can and I appologise if this has already been posted. PM me if you're having issues.

So, first of all your going to need your Java Security Settings window up. It's pretty easy to find; In your Windows menu (you know, the little blue cirlce menu in your tool bar. I don't know what it's actually called) search "Java" and click on "Configure Java" It should bring up the Java control panel.

Click the "Security tab at the top and your greeted with a slider page. Below all the Security level gubbins there's a button "Edit site list" Click it and yet another window will come up, click the "Add" button and type http://www.chickensmoothie.com This will unblock anything from chickensmoothie. If a warning comes up click continue then apply and now you can draw to your hearts content

I only have flash and I tried to add it to my trusted websites and flash trusted websites list but the link won't show up on flash when I add it and on my trusted website list, the link has to have https: but cs has http:

CS URL doesn't have either http:// or https://
Java requires that the site is http so I added it on, I'm going to hazard a guess that I works with https and flash
