Random thought:
What if all the lines were changed just for a short time, like a test? Then we could truly decide if it was in our opinion a change for better or worse, take another vote, and see if anyone's opinion changed? Then we could perhaps be a bit more clear on the decision.

A trial would be nice, but if it was reverted, all the work the artists put into transforming every horse would be lost D:
We should just stick to comparing the examples on the front page.

Hmm... Maybe not all of them, but one from every couple sets. That way we could get a clearer idea of what the rest would look like based on that, and the artists wouldn't have to change everything yet. To me, the few examples that are posted now don't help much; and I haven't seen what the new unicorns would look like yet.

I hope they will give a few more examples soon, I like the idea of them changing the designs into Yulynh lines, but I'm curious to what more would look like.

As a reminder, this is not the place to argue over what degree something looks traced or not, and it is not appropriate to be directly insulting either artist's work. If you don't care for one set of lines or another, that's fine, but insulting the artist is not acceptable just because they are/were staff artists.

What will the new unicorns and donkeys look like? I would like to know since I'm seemingly most worried about those and the ponies.

Unicorns are one of my favorite animals, but I really do not like the lineart for them, so it would be amazing if we could get examples of what the new ones would look like. (for donkeys as well)

Does anybody know what degree of majority would be needed to make the change? Right now, there are 18% more "yes"s than "no"s, but would that be a big enough margin?

I'm very conflicted on this idea. Although I do agree that an update of the lines would be nice to create a site wide uniformity, I absolutely ADORE the Equimagine pony lineart, and am not a fan of the Yulynh pony lines. I also think that any of the pony PPS pets would look odd on the Yulynh lines. I have been working on collecting all of Equimagines ponies because I adore the sweet appearance they have, and honestly I'd be upset to have my entire collection turned into lines I am not a huge fan of. On the other hand, I do like Yulynh's horse lines better than the Equimagine lines, so like I said, I am very conflicted.
Also, I have a question about the drafts, and why they'd be updated at all. To my knowledge, aside from the Malk drafts, there weren't anymore draft horses released after the Equimagine lines were retired, and just by looking at the lines it doesn't appear that items would fit the new lines any better than they fit the old ones. Wouldn't it just be a massive amount of, seemingly, unnecessary work for the artists? Or would they be added just to make a change to the site?

Yeah, me too. I originally voted no, but I'm kind of on the fence now because of the few examples that have already been given. My favorite equimagines of all are the PPS's (which would sadly be changed) and the unicorns... If I saw what the unicorns looked like redone I'd get a better idea of if I wanted the change or not. I still like the old linearts though... I just wish there could be some sort of compromise without the artists or Nick or anyone having to work so hard....
