As we farewell 2014, tell us your best/worst memories!

for me, the best thing was travelling to the states to meet one of my best friends. I was nervous about it, since i was staying with her and her husband and son for a week, but i had the best time! they all made me so welcome, took me to some amazing places, and made me feel like one of the family! i can't wait to visit again this year! it's been almost a year since i went, and i still can't stop talking about it!

2014 was really a horrible year until the very end. Although it wasn't 2014, my mother in law passed away suddenly December 17th of 2013 and that was the start to a pretty miserable 2014.

In January, my maternal grandfather passed away from pneumonia and an uncle on my dad's side committed suicide. in March, my paternal grandfather passed away from depression after the loss of my uncle and previously, my dad in 2008.

All the unexpected loss prompted my husband and I to start thinking about the future and we decided to grow our family out.

In September, we were crushed again when my 5 year old husky mix passed away suddenly. The necropsy showed his blood failed to clot and it was either poison, or an autoimmune disorder, and since there is nothing in our home that could cause such massive internal bleeding in a 100lb dog, we are assuming it was an autoimmune disorder, not that it helped make us feel better... This dog was my everything. I have owned many many dogs in my time but never have I loved one as much as I loved Tala. We had been through so much and it really broke my heart with his passing.

3 days prior to my husky passing, a friend of mine happened to have a litter of tamaskans. I reserved one right away and in November, he joined our family which helped ease the pain a little.

Then, December 19th, my husband and I welcomed a 7lb, 13oz baby boy into the world.

So all in all, 2014 was a very sad year, filled with a lot of heartache. It really only picked up in the last couple of months with the purchase of our new puppy and the birth of our son.

Here is to hoping 2015 is a better year!

I improved a lot on my writing skills through roleplaying, as I wish to be a novelist.
Finding out that I will get to see my half brother after four years.
Starting Minecraft
Getting a dog

Worst memories:
Being replaced
Getting sick for four months straight
Finding out that my parents had hid the fact that ny grandma had early stage breast cancer because of what happened a long time ago
Finding out that I probably have a form of Autism.
My grandma had a seizure, and if not for my aunt it could have turned bad
My neighbor the witch tried to evict my family from our house over a fight I had with her granddaughter.
The entire Glader situation
Breaking my ankle in November

Hopes for 2015:
I can continue to improve as an amateur writer
I can get my own 3DS
I can finally get a new bike
Getting to form a better relationship with the older two of my four cousins in my neighborhood
Start reading several books
Finding more people who accept me for being the freaky weirdo that I am
Getting over the depression I know I have

My 2014 memories:

Good ~
I made a new friend, no connections or anything~
I decided that I was going to do child care vet course in 2015
I figured out that I don't want to get married or have a family, I believe love is stupid and a waist of time...
I have FINALLY found my beliefs! It was so hard and it was really effecting me.
I started to learn how to fight with swords!

Bad~
I had to sit back and watch one of my best friends (Crush at the time) go out with another girl then get completely crushed by it... It tore me apart, and I not only fear for him but I fear for his safety
Drama, it got really bad, I eventually started harming myself as a way for punishment for the things I did and didn't do
Seeing my mother cry... I am a fairly strong girl but when something causes my mother to cry I just want to curl up into a ball and cease to exist... It is truly crushing...
I only have two real friends, everyone else hangs around me because of my best friend, they don't really take me accounted for...
I broke down after my Internet time was cut off - it sounds stupid, I know, but I got really, really worried that I was going to wake up and find a message saying that my sister-like-friend had died...


My hopes for this year:

No more drama!
I'll be able to get rid of my connections and have a wide group of friends
Get on top of homework
Write a story.
Not much really, stop being so over protective?

one of my best memories this year is that my best friend and her family finally came home! they had been in germany the past two years (we live in the u.s) because of her dad's work, but at long last the are back, and live only like two mintues away! it is really nice to have them close again, they are like family to us. all are back, except for one of her brothers, whom we all still miss dearly. he found a girl there and didn't come back with them, he was like a brother to me. <3
also, my baby neice was born in october! she is cute as can be. while the curcumstances weren't that great (i'm pretty sure my brother and his gf were just messing around... and they are kind of broke), she is certainly a blessing. her little laugh could turn a whole bad day around, i love her to death. <3

2014 was a really tough year, a lot of stuff with my brother was going on, and school and everything else, but i have big faith for 2015. now that the baby is born and our friends are back, i have a feeling things are going to get brighter. me and my dad are putting up fence and i am going to get goats this year! so excited for that. thanks to all my friends on cs for being here for me, i really appreciate it. <3

'14 has been a great year in the sense that I joined CS and managed to get my biggest dreamie -- yours truly, the Mountain Zebra -- in less than six months.
That's for CS. In my eccentric real life, I've managed to bag the first prize amongst 150 students combined of ALL the sections together after unfortunately being second for two consecutive years!
Also on my good list is that I came third in a national level general knowledge (maths, English etc.; 100 marks each :') amidst all the classes.
Moreover, my mom & dad, cardiologist and neurosurgeon respectively, have been promoted from assistant surgeon to head of the department! For medics, that's a honour *smiles*
We three sisters, me being the middle sis; the older one graduated from college with honours in Medical Sciences, Advanced Arithmetics and Psychology with state highest in the three, 1st rank and all in 90% house.
The younger, as usual, is a stylish youth in middle school, is desperate 'cause trophies are given out only in high school


Gosh, nothing negative for the previous year...
I hope for the next 12 months, I continue to maintain my rank and prove my full potential.

I had lots of moments in 201, but my favorite one was finding about CS! I love this game more than anything. I got a lot of friends to play it as well. They love it as much as I do. I hope this game never stops! I also hope everyone has a awesome New Year!
