The whole 'all lives matter' thing is so sad and disappointing. Then there is a charity marathon for breast cancer, no one argues 'well all cancers matter' and start counter charities. When the Australian bush fires blazed, no one argued 'well all forest bush fires matter, they don't just happen in Austrailia'. While all of the statements above are true, that is not current point/message. Yes, all cancers are important/deadly. Yes, all bush fires are devastating. Yes, all lives matter. But that is not the current problem; African Americans are specifically being unjustly discriminated against, targeted and killed purely because of the color of their skin. That's why this movement is happening. It's call to action for a current issue.
