I like this idea and want them changed. I've always disliked the original horse lines.

lol, But seriously, as much as I do love the old lines for the nostalgia factor, I'm really liking this idea. I think it'd be rather fun seeing how the artists are able to reproduce all of the designs (and in some cases improve them too), and it makes complete sense to me to have them all be consistently in the same lines... Especially when they're in the same group, the old ones look really out of place with the newer lines.

And not to mention quite a few of the newer members (from what I've seen anyway) often get confused as to why there are so many different lines. Updating them could possibly help with that. ^^

Either way, I can't wait to see how this poll comes along in the days to come. I'd love to see this happen but I also respect those who don't like the idea. If it doesn't happen, ah well. Life goes on and it was worth a try.

I do not agree with this idea. There is good reasons for them to be changed, but I love the old lineart horses and ponies that I have, especially the ones from 2009. I would be sad if they changed.

Why don't we just keep the old linearts and make some new ones that match the design, but with horses and ponies? I think that would be a WAY better solution.

I'd wait for a few more examples, but I think the lineart changes may bring some more life into the old linearts, and possibly make them a bit more wanted.
There are some pets that may lose their charm; I'd think hard about the PPSes because they're very unique, and some of their markings may be hard to see on the new linearts.
Then again, I'm curious as to how would all the horses look like after this.

Though I will certainly miss the old line-arts (especially the pony line-art), I think this is a really good idea.
