While I totally see the reasons for it, I'm against it.
I think many designs just wouldn't work/would look too different, as well as that it would erase part of CS as others have said.
I'm not a fan of Equimagine's pony lines, but I especially enjoy the older horses.
I think it's unfair to remove pets just because they aren't popular.

The idea of making the horses more uniform is great but the equimagine lines have such character I would hate to lose that.

I did, the thing is, most of her linearts that look like direct traces are for the newborn stages, which aren't seen much now, except for PPS's which probably wouldn't be changed.(from what I've heard)

I remember when the site used equi's lineart, I'd be sad to see it go.

If tess had to remove it because of copyright claims it wouldn't be a vote, she'd just do it.
So yeah, it is a popularity contest.

Exactly the point I was about to make.

I get where other people are coming from and they have a lot of good points, but I'll be slightly upset if the site ends up voting against this change. I really think it needs to happen and won't do nearly as much harm as good for the site. And the people complaining about lack of diversity should really back up and see just how many line arts CS has. It's a pretty diverse site. Even if this change happens there will still be at least five different equine lines...

i don't like the old line art , because it seemed way too much cartoony , the eyes were unattractive to me , and it's traced . i think it would make chicken smoothie do better to go with conversion , which it seems that it will , but it also would be depromoting art theft in a way , which is good .

@lilly , no it is not , she isn't fully removing them from cs , she is converting the lines . no need to jump down throats about it .
