I still favour keeping all names as is and only changing out extremely.
I do also still prefer super, but I acknowledge the confusion it can have with very so I'm not against discarding that option. extra is my second favorite alternative, but mighty is a very good one! I think using either of those would work well.

I also used these colors with the rarity bars suggested by

Oh gosh, I really dislike pallette #3, a- th colours look super close and b- there are dark tones at the beginning and and but also at the middle??
Anyway my bus is here, I will elaborate later (sorry)
Yes I agree, the 3rd pallet doesn't have a clear enough distinction between the 3 darker colors, & almost look identical to me.

Really appreciate this being gathered up Lacuna. I'm definitely of the mind that Extremely is too confusing and awkward, and the OMG label being changed in the process would be great in my opinion if not for the potential religious connotations then just because it feels very.....old internet? It stands out a lot among the rest of the labels and has bothered me for a while in all honesty.
I definitely think that keeping the symmetry and limiting confusion should be important. The whimsical options aren't appealing to me since all the disparate words make it difficult to immediately know their relation to each other and could be seen as vague especially if your first language isn't English.
With that, I feel like the best options to replace extremely would be Incredibly or Exceptionally (Mightily or Remarkably could work as well); with Hyper or Mega replacing OMG. I could only see Super/Super Duper working if we keep the OMG label since all three have a sort of childish feel that makes them fit together, but I'm not sure if that's really what we're going for with these changes. Mega Common / Hyper Common
Incredibly Common / Exceptionally Common
Very Common
Common
Uncommon
Very Uncommon
Incredibly Uncommon / Exceptionally Uncommon
Rare
Very Rare
Incredibly Rare / Exceptionally Rare
Mega Rare / Hyper Rare

i'm not a fan of the whimsical names at all; i think it's too nebulous/vague, especially in light of those pointing out that this site is geared towards a younger audience who may not understand the words. i understand wanting to have unique shorthand versions for rarities, but i think there's a way to make those work while still sticking to the relatively straightforward naming conventions of our current system (which is why i provided examples of them in my list above). i feel that occam's razor applies here: the simplest option is almost always the best!
This I can definitely get behind!

I voted for 4 new rarities and I like these labels.

Vincent Van Gogh. Everyone said to him, "You can't be a great painter, you only have one ear." And you know what he said? "I can't hear you."
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

I've been debating and i have to agree with this. I'm an old player, and having new people try and trade me a bunch of Commons for my Rares... I definitely think that more categories will be helpful.

Personally, I like the idea of adding four new rarities. As an old player coming back, keeping up with what everything is worth can be very overwhelming, even with the helpful guides users provide. I believe having more distinct categories will help a lot when it comes to trading, especially with people who aren't experts on rarities!

Though I don't really care what the names will be (more concerned with how the rarities themselves will function), I do like this the best out of all the ones proposed. They're simple to understand and it gets rid of the OMG part of the rarities. I always thought that was a bit weird so it would be nice to see it change for consistency.
I don't understand why changing it is so bad? If it does get changed, great, if not, then nothing changed.
