The storm has moved on from here (Northern VA) as of this morning so its actually pretty calm. There are leaves everywhere and stuff like that but no actual damage. It seems that CS may not go down after all. Regardless, all of those still in its path-stay safe!

that was when it was a huricane. It isnt one any more.
Also the news is showing the aftermath of the storm meaning it is over as well.

It's still a super storm. Over 1,700 miles long and over 8 million ar without power.

Just to let you know, that picture is not from this storm. See those palm trees on that roof on the right? Palm trees don't grow naturally in any of the states affected. That picture is from another storm that affected a tropical island.

New york city is getting the worst of it I think.

They are now, because the super storm sandy moved up there. The coast got the worst because of water. New York City isn't as close to the water as much as New Jersey is.
