Sounds really fun! But I'll have to go to the store to buy a base for the cake, since it's cheaper and I also don't really know how to bake a cake from scratch...is this okay if I make everything else from scratch, as long as it's mostly edible? :mrgreen:

Sorry if my question is confusing! I reread it and it confused me! :lol:

Buying the base is fine. That rule is there so you don't have a bakery do the whole thing for you.

You have to do most of the work yourself - ex: at least ice and decorate the cake. Not "I bought this and wrote 'Happy Birthday CS' on it."

3.One entry (one cake, or one group of cupcakes) per user. If you do make more than one cake before the contest has ended, you can get us to swap your entry for the one you are most proud of. But you cannot change your entry after the contest has closed for judging.
