From the item artist application page:
"You can’t redraw or erase the pet underneath, so you need to think carefully about how to cover or blend your item to fit onto the pet’s body. Aim to match our typical lineart and shading style so your items don’t look too out of place."

The overall idea is to create items that would fit the pet without altering the pet. :)

Thanks, I made it late last night so I must have glossed over that. For the pets, as long as we stick to the pallet we chose, do the three pets need to look like they belong to the same litter? Or can we make three separate designs as long as the adults match with the newborns?

Also, for our own work we need to attach, can it be commissioned work of people's characters or are those not acceptable?

What application do you use to draw on your chromebook? PSD files can be opened by most drawing software ^^

You can shift the hue and clip it to the eye layer, or redraw your own version of the irises.

It depends on which role you are given. Guest artists may only submit work a couple times a year, while official artists create content nearly every month. In any case, if you are planning on being an artist, you should have some quality time to devote to CS as a volunteer staff member.

I believe it ends on the 28th! or towards the end of this month, so you should have plenty of time :)
