What date did you register as a CS member?: August 18th, 2011; although I have found CS earlier but never registered.
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 1856
Without posting your age, are you old enough (and willing) to risk seeing adult content when screening posts that are waiting for moderator approval: (If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the first post again) Of course, and I am willing to view mature content and clean it up.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I visit 7 days a week, unless I have an event planned.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Usually 5-7, unless something comes up. I'm never on less than 3 hours, its always 5+.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them Yes, of course. I've moderated on a couple sites, actually.
This site is called LunaHelpSite, the forum was for a virtual pet maker, you could contribute art to other users for use. Sadly, the forum isn't as active anymore due to the virtual pet maker closing down, but some regular member check in periodically. I have also been a moderator for 4 years on
Peaworld, but not a lot of members check on it anymore, sadly. On CS, I have run many adoptable threads & agencies, my most successful being
Chibbu. I have moderated for a few others too, but they are long gone.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be a moderator for CS? I've been a member since 2011, and I was immediately in love with Chicken Smoothie. Ever since I have arrived, I've been making new friends & meeting an amazing community, and along the way I adequately learned how CS works and how it runs. Helping members and the CS community has always been something I loved, and being a global moderator would allow me to do so. I also would love to feel useful for the community- and give back to it. From the previous sites I have moderated for, I brought back a ton of experience dealing with some members and spam. I'd love to use this experience for ChickenSmoothie, an active and a very close community. I have been on CS for quite awhile and I would like to be able to learn and do more for this site. I'd love to make this place more child & family friendly by deleting spam/art theft/dealing with "ruder" members. I'd love to help enforce the rules on CS while still keeping my emotions, and I would love to help out answering questions/other concerns. I enjoying helping out people when they're not to sure what's what, I don't mind explaining things multiple times and I love the feeling when helping people. I try to help out as much as can on the forums and answer questions to the best of my knowledge. I would like to be a global moderator as it would bring on more opportunities to help people and to gain information on topics I may not have known about before. I am a very approachable person and I'm willing to solves any issues users have with the rules/topics on the forums. On a different note from moderating, I'm fairly good at pet ratings. I've been collecting a fair amount of pets from the past 2 and a half years, and I picked up quite a bit of knowledge. I'm not an expert, but I know most of their values and demand/rarities. To sum it all up, I would love to help CS grow and help clean up this amazing site in any way possible. Being a global moderator would be an amazing experience for myself and others, I believe it would help me achieve future milestones yet to come. Also, I've had severe health illnesses for quite awhile and CS has helped quite a bit, and I'd love to give back for everything the members and the site have done for me.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?) Computerwise, I am fluent in BBCode and HTML, and I am learning the basics of PHP. On CS, I am well at organizing events and threads. I used to run Chibbu, and it was well organized, neat, and pleasing to the eye. I am especially well with how the oekaki works and functions, I can help almost anybody that needs help with the program. I do enjoy helping others out, so most situations don't bother me, and I do my best to be unbiased when working out problems between others. I'm generally familiar with the art forums, especially when it comes to oekaki, and I believe I understand most of the tools, and where to direct others if I don't. I understand the basics of trade values as well, though my definition differs a tad bit from others. I can help almost anyone on the forum, and I can help people edit their profile/signature/avatar if they're having some trouble. In real life and social media, I used to be part of an anti-bully group at school, that helped victims of bullies, girls that deal with a lot of drama, and people with family issues, and I had some time helping the mentally and physically special at my school. I am always quite patient when we helped students, I am also specially well at giving lectures, debates, and speeches. Way back when, I also volunteered to work at an animal shelter, so I know quite a bit of animal health knowledge. In school, I joined a fair amount of clubs and groups, so I have picked up some experience there as well. I'm fluent in English as it is my mother language- and I am also learning Japanese and Tagalog, I have adequate knowledge for these two languages, and can say a few words and phrases. I took Spanish classes in junior high, although I'm not that great at it.
Thank you so much for this opportunity.
