You can say that again. I just spent the past several hours fixing my duplicates groups.

I really wish CS had better and more sorting options; it'd be nice if you could choose to sort within groups themselves, then I could have just changed the groups to be sorted by rarity instead of chronologically, changed the number of pets per page to be higher, and then transferred them page by page into the desired groups instead of having to manually pick through every page to ensure over five and half thousand individual pets were all in the groups they're supposed to be in, and even now I can't say for sure that I didn't make any mistakes.

You can change the number of pets displayed per page by adding "&pageSize=number" to the end of the URL of the group. It doesn't help you with the problem of wanting to sort by rarity, but it does make sorting a little less tedious when you can just scroll through the whole group in one or a few pages^^

If you change the rarity display settings to show them as text instead of image bars, you can also Ctrl+F for the rarities to jump from pet to pet (I'd start with very rare, very common and omg so common, though, as otherwise searching for rare and common will include them).

A lot of people here seem to believe that the new update won’t make older pets go up in value, and correcting said people for believing so. While technically yes, their value is the same, percieved value will be changing.

Users want an omgsr tag, and if those pets were rarer before users will want them even more now- demand will increase. The old 2010 uncommon that went rare will now be harder to get a hold of because people will be expecting more for them now that they perceive them as officially being rare (or very rare in some cases.)

It’s like if you price a shirt. If it’s priced at 10$ you’ll think it’s a cheaper shirt, but when you bump the price up to, say 30, people will view it to be higher quality regardless of real value. Those new omgsr, vr and rare tags are making the pets visually more valuable despite their original value before the update.

Rarity may not have changed, but the value has. People value omgsr pets a lot more, so people will likely be paying even more for them now (especially with the list being rearranged to compensate.) It will definitely be harder to get older pets as the gap between poorer and richer players just took a massive jump.

Well my trade group for rare and vr pets jumped from 31 pets to almost 300

To change your rarity display settings, go to any group of yours (doesn't matter which), and click the "Change pet display settings" link at the bottom of the page.
Make sure to tick both of the boxes on that page, so that it is set to both "Show pet rarities as text labels instead of image bars" and "Show pet rarities under pets when viewing pet groups".
Then save your settings. This will make rarities show up as plain text in all your groups and all groups of other users, until you change the settings again.

If you meant the page size part: That isn't a setting you can save, you will have to manually add the pageSize bit to the end of the URL in the browser's address bar every time you switch groups (but not when you flip pages in a group or moved pets in it).

Account activity is determined by when an account has last been logged into, so you don't actually have to post/trade/adopt - just logging in means you count as active c:

Literally almost all of my pets were bumped down by a LOT
Now they're practically worthless and nearly impossible to trade away, thanks :')

So pets can now pretty much be traded equally across the years more or less? Is what I'm gathering?
Like a 2018 rare IS actually equal in rarity to a 2009 rare?

If so that takes away all the awkward explaining when some new person offers something they think has value for something that DOES have value because they share the same rarity tag.

And we won't have inexperienced players being frustrated when they attempt to trade a recent store pet for a NonSwirl and are refused...

Or...some ninja trader cheating newbies out of their Dec 18th pets as easily...
