I joined this site in 2009 with a friend! We used to trawl the pound looking for rares! It was great fun! Though you had to adopt a pet at a time back then which was a big commitment haha!
It was one of the driving forces to inspire me to draw animals (as humans were almost exclusively my forte) and drove me to do art for pets! I learnt a lot about fair trade on this site and interacted with some amazing artists.
Thank you for creating and running this site, I pop in now and then to check up on what's happening and am always pleased to see it still going! I am very impressed with the caliber of the art that is being produced nowadays (though it was lovely back when).

My favorite memory, me getting in. I thought this was just going to be another poopy site but, it was amazing.

Hello, i am xxwarriorcatfanxx, and I have been playing CS since 2013. I had recently rage quit, after i traded my main list speckled rat. I was a newbie, and it was december 18th. i also traded my september list blue rose dog, but i under traded for a few '13 rares. I joined up again in January 2015. I worked hard, and got a peppermint bun! But, i did not think it was on the list, so i traded it. . Now, I study the rares list, and know what is worth what. I now have a flopped-eared blood dog. I have really one true goal on CS; Trade up the list and achieve a high main list pet.

I have been on CS since 2014 so a almost year im not sure what to say lol xD best thing that I remember that happened to me was that when i came to CS someone gave me on first week a very rare pet. Nothing bad have not happened me on CS!!! I love CS! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CS!

My memories of CS include

-First seeing a CS dog in someone's signature back in 2010 (choosing to click on it being one of my best decisions ever)
-Adopting my first pets and naming them
-Waiting for the elusive pound to open, and being so excited when I finally caught it
-First having one of my pets turn out to be rare
-Discovering my love for drawing animals through inspiration from the Oekaki
-Discovering my love for writing through roleplay

and perhaps my best memory of all was getting the stickers in the mail! c:
