sadly i'm going to have to say: no fandom stamps please...

even if they were done with non-copyrighted materials, it would be a pandora's box of a situation. once you made one stamp, you'd have to make one for every single conceivable fandom no matter how small, and you'd probably end up with people clamoring for even more of the ones you did at the start.

it would be a never-ending treadmill of work for whoever has to create stamps. it's much more sensible to just say that for fandoms, people will have to find stamps on their own and put it in their signature another way.

i think if there was a criteria for what could be made into a fandom stamp it would be fine.
Like, enough people would have to want said stamp and it would have to be a thing that isnt copyrighted.
Like furries, bronies, whovians, etc.

maybe it can be divided up into more general 'fandoms', like the anime fandom stamp that already exists?
for example, tv show fan, movie fan, video game fan, furry, etc.

that would be a good way to do it! maybe some genres as well: fantasy fan, steampunk fan, cyberpunk fan (pls pls pls if you include steampunk also include cyberpunk i will weep tears of joy at you), etc.

with individual fandoms, though, i think everybody would end up just fighting about trying to get to that criteria, so it would be the same mess, but on a different level, lol

Sort of like how you can switch back and forth between your signature, and your stamps. There could be a third holiday option. It could be a site wide thing. "Do you want your signature to reflect UNIVERSAL HUG DAY! for the entire event? Don't worry! It'll be switched back when the event ends. Something such as that.

i can't decide if i want to keep my signature up or change it to my stamps halp this is so lovely <3
fandom stamps would be great. i understand copyright might be an issue, but maybe just a stamp that reads something like
"the fandom life is my life"
or something like that.
or maybe some type of reference to gaming or-or furries or just omg i'm getting carried away this is just so exciting.
i'd love to see some more stamps tho, there are so many more things you could add that i'm excited to see
in the future <3
