sadly i'm going to have to say: no fandom stamps please...

even if they were done with non-copyrighted materials, it would be a pandora's box of a situation. once you made one stamp, you'd have to make one for every single conceivable fandom no matter how small, and you'd probably end up with people clamoring for even more of the ones you did at the start.

it would be a never-ending treadmill of work for whoever has to create stamps. it's much more sensible to just say that for fandoms, people will have to find stamps on their own and put it in their signature another way.

i think birthstones are a great idea! and i still stand by pride flags for specific support of homosexuality, demisexuality, asexuality, etc. because i think it is incredibly important to tell people their identities are supported and valid. yes, even on pet sites. and yes, even - ESPECIALLY! - when there are children around. c:

i think if there was a criteria for what could be made into a fandom stamp it would be fine.
Like, enough people would have to want said stamp and it would have to be a thing that isnt copyrighted.
Like furries, bronies, whovians, etc.
