if this whole "traced" dealio was as big as a problem as everyone is making it, then they would have gotten rid of the lines as soon as it was clear it was an issue. to me, anyways, it used to not be a big deal, and now everyone is dramatically freaking out and trying to make this is thing worse than it is.

There is no reason for you to badger other users for voting the way they want. If you do not agree with their opinion/reasons, then complain elsewhere. They have every right to vote as they see fit as you do.

I thought this was a nice rule. I'm not sure if everyone saw it though...

Perhaps we could try to discuss it a little more politely and think about how we say things before we hurt more feelings than have already been hurt.

it's just that no one has been able to freely talk about it because the staff was continuously trying to sweep it under the rug. It's not right. Equi's lines break CS's own rules about tracing/referencing, and it needs to be corrected while it can.

Not all the horses were traced people. Go read the front page and you'll see that.

The front page doesn't tell people anything about the tracing issue, it doesn't give any detail or insight at all (which I think should be fixed).

I respect your opinion, and posted that because others are not respecing some people's decisions, (the no side) so I thought that people might need to see it. (And by not respecting I mean people were waving "ART THEFT!! That's why you can't like them!" in people's faces. Not saying that some people aren't gently reminding. Because some are.)

Tess addressed the tracing issue with equimagine.
Equi said it was a careless mistake, and it was dropped.

The Roadkill/Buckskin/Dice/RBM and a few others might stay the same.
Tess might hold another poll to see.

It's on the front page to not harass people about their opinions.
If you've already voted and proved your point, there's no need to wave it in people's faces.

I wish people would set their hurt feelings aside and just focus on the facts. Majority agree that the lines need to be changed. Hopefully the special old lines (pps and rainbow lines) can be converted to special new lines but the other ones are most likely going to be changed.

Many people are taking this too personally and getting their feelings hurt when it isn't necessary. Yes, it may be sad because you got attached to them, but at this point it looks like it is going to happen anyway.

Sorry if this seems rude but I think many people need to take a deep breath and relax.

All of them have heavy influences of tracing, and even if some may not be, they need to be removed as a message that we do not respect or tolerate art theft here of any caliber.
